Position Overview

We are seeking a Security Technician / Helper to assist with the installation, maintenance, and service of commercial and industrial electronic security systems.

This position will work on both Access Control and IP Video Surveillance (CCTV) systems while assisting with associated low-voltage cabling, conduit installation, and supporting network infrastructure.

Experience is preferred—but not required. If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training and certifications needed to build a successful career.

Experience Preferred (Not Required)

• Access Control Systems
• CCTV / IP Camera Systems
• Electronic Door Hardware
• Low Voltage Cabling
• Cat5e / Cat6 / Fiber Installation
• EMT, IMC, or Rigid Conduit Installation
• Basic Networking (IP Addressing, PoE, Network Switches)
• Construction or Electrical Experience

What You'll Do

• Install card readers, electric locks, request-to-exit devices, door contacts, and associated access control hardware
• Install and mount IP cameras, brackets, housings, poles, and related surveillance equipment
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
• Install EMT, IMC, and other raceway systems
• Install network switches, PoE equipment, equipment cabinets, and supporting infrastructure
• Read blueprints, drawings, and installation plans
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify operation of security devices and camera systems
• Configure basic network-connected security equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms
• Ability to travel as project needs require
• Valid driver's license required

Travel

• Approximately 70% local work / 30% regional travel

• Regional travel throughout the United States as project needs require

• Company covers airfare, hotel accommodations, rental vehicle, and daily per diem for overnight travel assignments
