Position: Commercial Electrical Estimator

Established 20-year-old company looking for career-minded team members focused on innovation and integrity with the grit required to see a task through.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all aspects of the estimating process while meeting short- and long-term deadlines

· Attend pre-bid job walks, walk-throughs, and related pre-con meetings as required

· Review estimates for adherence to company objectives and core focus

· Optimize competitive bid approach and present to the executive team

· Collaborate with project management to ensure high quality estimates that align with construction department capabilities

· Request and review quotes for accuracy to determine confirmed low and best value

· Accurately manage and execute all assigned bids while maintaining deadlines

· Maintain accountability of assigned bids from concept to construction department handoff

· Identify new departmental value add opportunities and concepts that align with the company core values and focus

Qualifications:

· Works well in a collaborative team environment

· No less than 3 years' experience in estimating commercial electrical projects in the Austin/ Centex Market

· Possesses valid TDLR journeyman electrician license or better

· Confirmed success estimating projects valued up to $5M +

· Proficiency in EBM, Accubid, MS Office, Bluebeam, Sage, Microsoft Teams eco system

· Ability to effectively communicate to multiple team members and report to management

· Possesses organization, time management, and communication skill consistent with the position

· Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume deadline driven environment.

· Proficiency in on-screen take off, with rigorous document management and technical skills

· Ability to build and maintain customer and vendor relationships

· Ability to identify sales opportunities within and outside of existing customer network and present to team for consideration.

· Ability to prepare accurate bids based on all drawing disciplines, RFI responses, and responsibilities/scope clarifications sheet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
