Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Prepare and submit budget updates and forecasts to senior management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including foremen, electricians, and apprentices. Provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Estimating Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the estimating process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bids.
  • Vendor & Quote Management: Request and review quotes for accuracy to secure the best value for the company.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new opportunities and concepts that add value to our department and align with our core values.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating and managing commercial electrical projects.
  • Licensing: Holds a valid TDLR journeyman electrician license or higher.
  • Certifications: PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
