Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Prepare and submit budget updates and forecasts to senior management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including foremen, electricians, and apprentices. Provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans. Resolve any issues that arise during the project promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as Journeyman Electrician, with a proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects.
- Certifications: PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Other: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
