Position Overview:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will perform a wide range of electrical tasks on commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance to local and national electrical codes
- Mentor and supervise apprentices to help them develop their skills
Qualifications:
- Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician license
- Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform quality installations
- Reliable transportation
- Pre-hire and random drug screening
- Pre-hire physical
