Job Summary:

We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of excavation experience with heavy civil construction equipment. Will be hired as a laborer and will have the opportunity to become an operator once skills proven on the job. Must have a strong work ethic to be part of our dynamic concrete and excavation team building Parks, Street Improvements, ADA ramps, Downtown restorations, etc. We do not expect you to know everything; we encourage learning and advancement; if you are a hardworking individual who aspires to learn and progress in a growing company we encourage you to apply.

Must be eager to share knowledge, elevate and train those with less experience. If you are an expert at your craft, drug free and a Team Player with strong interpersonal skills and integrity we want to meet you. Prevailing wages plus significant benefit package including retirement plan, medical/dental/prescription, PTO, and holiday pay.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Operating 5,000-50,000 lb excavators, backhoes, motor grader, track bobcats, etc.
• Must understand grades, able to read survey stakes/hubs, be proficient with a laser and able to read and understand construction drawings.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Pipe laying experience: water, sewer, storm. (preferred)
• Competent Person and Confined Spaces Certification is a plus but not required. Will train if necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License required with reliable transportation
• Drug free
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Hard working and Self-Motivation is important
