We are seeking experienced Construction Laborers for demolition, site preparation, and dust containment work on a commercial project in West Hills, CA. The work takes place at night after 5:00PM.

This position involves working in occupied buildings and sensitive environments where cleanliness, dust control, and protection of surrounding areas are critical.

Responsibilities

• Perform selective demolition of drywall, ceilings, flooring, partitions, and other building materials.
• Install temporary dust containment barriers, plastic sheeting, zipper doors, and protective coverings.
• Set up and maintain HEPA filtration and negative air equipment as directed.
• Protect existing floors, walls, equipment, and adjacent occupied areas.
• Remove, transport, and properly dispose of demolition debris.
• Maintain clean work areas and prevent dust migration into occupied spaces.
• Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and general construction activities.
• Follow jobsite safety, PPE, and environmental protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous construction labor or demolition experience preferred.
• Experience with dust containment and work in occupied or sensitive facilities is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and demolition equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work night shifts when required.
• Ability to meet project-specific background screening and site access requirements.

Compensation: Prevailing Wage rate as determined by DIR
