We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber for a commercial construction project In West Hills, CA. The work takes place at night after 5:00PM.

Candidates must be skilled in plumbing installation, able to read construction drawings, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and gas piping systems.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and installation details.
• Perform piping layout, rough-in, fixture installation, and final connections.
• Work with copper, cast iron, PVC, ABS, PEX, and other piping materials.
• Conduct pressure testing, troubleshoot installation issues, and prepare work for inspections.
• Coordinate with other trades and maintain jobsite safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level plumbing experience, preferably 5+ years or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
• Commercial construction experience required. Public works experience preferred.
• Ability to independently perform plumbing layout, installation, and testing.
• Familiarity with California plumbing codes and construction safety requirements.
• Pipefitting and mechanical piping experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts when project schedules require.
• Ability to meet project-specific jobsite access requirements, including background screening where applicable.

Compensation: Prevailing Wage rate as determined by DIR
