Insulators install insulation on mechanical surfaces such as pipe, ductwork, tanks, and equipment for thermal and acoustical applications. They are expected to follow direction, work safely, perform quality work, and contribute productively to the success of the project.

Field crew members perform assigned work, use tools and materials responsibly, maintain safe work practices, and communicate problems or unsafe conditions to the foreman.

Field crew members must be able to lift 45lbs, work from ladders and lifts, climb stairs, bend, reach, and work in unconditioned spaces and construction sites.

Duties include:

• Receive daily assignment from the foreman and confirm understanding of the task
• Gather the required tools, materials and equipment
• Perform the work according to instructions, project requirements, and company standards
• Notify the foreman if conditions differ from what is expected, materials are missing, or a safety concern exists
• Leave tools, material areas and work areas in an organized condition at the end of the work shift

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
