What You’ll Do

As an electrician with Edge Electric, you’ll put your experience to work in the field while representing the quality and professionalism our customers expect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
• Installing conduit, lighting systems, devices, panels, feeders, and basic control systems.
• Installing motor feeders and completing standard motor connections.
• Reading and working from electrical plans, layouts, specifications, and job instructions.
• Identifying problems and developing practical solutions in the field.
• Working independently and making sound decisions without constant supervision.
• Coordinating with project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional job site.
• Properly caring for company tools, vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Following all company and job-site safety requirements.
• Participating in toolbox talks, safety audits, and other safety activities.
• Promptly identifying, correcting, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Contributing to a dependable, professional, and team-focused crew.
• Performing other electrical and project-related duties as assigned.

• Able to take direction, communicate clearly, and adapt when project needs change.
• Professional when working with customers, coworkers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Respectful of company property, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
• Interested in growing with a busy, established electrical contractor.

Requirements

• At least five years of electrical experience.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• Strong electrical installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow electrical plans and job instructions.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Ability to travel to multiple project and service locations.
• Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality craftsmanship.

• Schedule: Day shift; eight-hour shifts
