Full-Time | $85,000-$105,000 per year

Greater Comfort Mechanical is a growing commercial and industrial HVAC contractor serving Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region. As we expand into the Lexington market, we're looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer / Project Manager to lead commercial installation projects and help build our local team.

This role is ideal for a skilled HVAC professional who enjoys both hands-on work and leadership responsibilities. You'll oversee projects from start to finish, lead installation crews, coordinate resources, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff through completion
• Lead, train, and support installation crews
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ensure quality workmanship, code compliance, and safety standards
• Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Troubleshoot field challenges and drive project success

Qualifications

• HVAC Journeyman License
• 10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Experience leading crews and managing projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and controls
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Valid driver's license
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
