What You'll Do:
As a Plumbing Foreman, you'll lead and manage plumbing construction activities on job sites under the direction of a Superintendent or Project Manager. You’ll be responsible for overseeing plumbing crews, promoting jobsite safety, and ensuring quality plumbing work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage plumbing trade activities on commercial and industrial construction job sites.
• Promote and enforce Green Mechanical’s safety policies and procedures.
• Interpret plumbing blueprints, construction documents, equipment schedules, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Generate material takeoffs and manage plumbing materials to maintain productivity.
• Supervise and lead plumbing crews, subcontractors, and support personnel.
• Monitor field productivity and manage allocated labor hours.
• Coordinate plumbing equipment, fixtures, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate plumbing installation activities with other trades and project personnel.
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings.
• Maintain necessary plumbing certifications or licenses applicable to the role.
• Complete and submit required job documentation and progress reports.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support successful project delivery.
What You Bring:
We’re looking for experienced plumbing field leaders who can motivate crews, solve problems, and maintain high standards of workmanship on every project.
Ideal Qualifications:
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing construction.
• Experience supervising plumbing construction projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate plumbing work with other trades and project teams.
• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented.
• Strong planning, organizational, and material management skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
