Haugland Group, a privately-owned Long Island, New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our team. This position will be based in St. Thomas, VI.

Key Functions:
- Maintain the Primavera P6 project schedule by incorporating updates from site walks and progress meetings to reflect current field conditions.
- Create detailed weekly 4-week look-ahead schedules to support field operations planning and coordinate subcontractor activities.
- Conduct CPM analysis to evaluate delays, weather impacts, and resource constraints, and communicate critical path changes to project leadership.
- Monitor procurement, deliveries, long-lead items, barge arrivals, and port clearances to avoid material-related disruptions.
- Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs, and prepare resource reports and histograms to identify potential shortages or spikes.
- Prepare formal monthly schedule updates and written narrative discussing progress and earned value for each period.
- Review subcontractor schedule updates to confirm alignment with the master schedule and verify progress for billing.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- 3-5 years of project scheduling experience, preferably during active construction phases of civil, infrastructure, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel for scheduling, resource management, and data tracking.
- Ability to read construction drawings, understand construction sequencing, and work effectively on active job sites.
- Knowledge of island construction logistics and familiarity with FEMA, WAPA, and VIPA compliance requirements is preferred.
- Must be willing to work full-time on-site in St. Thomas, USVI.
