Haugland Virgin Islands, a privately-owned civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for a Flagger to join our team.

Key Functions:

• Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic through and around construction, utility, and work zones.
• Use signs, flags, paddles, and other traffic control devices to safely guide traffic.
• Communicate with crew members to coordinate traffic flow and ensure work zone safety.
• Monitor traffic conditions and report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents.
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable traffic control regulations.
• Provide clear directions to motorists, pedestrians, and site visitors.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction, roadwork, or traffic control experience preferred.
• Flagger certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of work zone safety practices and traffic control procedures.
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and react quickly in changing traffic conditions.
• Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
