Haugland Energy Group, a privately-owned Long Island, New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Overhead T&D General Manager to join our team. This is a southern market position, and travel to the assigned territory will be required.

Key Functions:
- Lead all operational and financial activities within an assigned business unit or market.
- Direct Regional Managers and project teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and successful project execution.
- Review budgets, forecasts, project performance, and operational metrics.
- Direct workforce planning, staffing strategies, and resource allocation.
- Responsible for revenue, margin, overhead, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment with operational and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased profitability for assigned projects.
- Review and evaluate project risks, change orders, and operational issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in utility construction, construction management, engineering, or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects, departments, or operational teams.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and make sound business decisions.
- Travel required based on operational client and business needs.
