Key Functions:
Haugland Virgin Islands is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of human resources operations across the organization. The HR Generalist will be responsible for:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
- Administering employee benefits programs and serving as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.
- Maintaining HR policies, employee records, and ensuring compliance with federal, territorial, and company employment regulations.
- Supporting employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
- Developing and coordinating employee engagement, recognition, retention, and wellness initiatives.
- Assisting with workforce planning, training and development, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Maintaining HRIS data, preparing HR reports, and ensuring personnel records are accurate and confidential.
- Partnering with leadership to promote a positive, productive, and employee-focused workplace culture.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent Human Resources certification preferred.
