Key Functions:

• Site Prep & Cleanup: Cleaning hazards, removing debris, setting up bracing, and preparing materials.
• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials (e.g., cement, lumber) around the job site.
• Tool/Machine Operation: Operating tools like concrete mixers, drills, grinders, earth tampers, and small hoists.
• Assisting Trades: Supporting carpenters, masons, and plumbers with tasks like measuring, cutting, and assembling.
• Heavy Lifting: Lifting, pushing, and carrying heavy items.
• Safety Compliance: Following strict safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous tasks in all weather conditions for extended periods.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction is preferred, but many roles are entry-level.
• Skills: Ability to follow instructions, basic knowledge of hand tools, and a focus on safety.
• Reliability: High level of punctuality and dependability.
• Credentials: Valid driver’s license is often required for commuting to different job sites.
