ob Summary

We are looking for a qualified IT Manager who will maintain computers, networks, and other technology systems aiming for the highest levels of availability and reliability. You will also “train” users on the systems to make appropriate and efficient use of the technology tools that Headwaters deploys.

A successful IT Manager must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. This is not a tech support-only position but includes all aspects of purchasing, implementing, training, and maintaining all technology related aspects of the company.

This is an on-site, full-time, exempt position based out of our Rexburg, ID office.

What you need

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in Information Technology
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Organizational and time management skills
• While not required, schooling in IT, either related degrees and/or certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintaining working components through repair or replacement
• Troubleshooting technical difficulties through call-ins or live chat
• Assisting customers and staff with hardware and software challenges
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on software and hardware
• Ordering necessary equipment for efficient workflows
• Maintain technology inventory
