Ace Hardware of East Texas is seeking a creative, organized, and customer-focused Merchandising & Marketing Manager to lead the vision, merchandising, and purchasing for our Home Goods, Gifts, Décor, Seasonal, and Apparel departments. This individual will be responsible for creating an inviting shopping experience by selecting on-trend merchandise, maintaining visually appealing displays, and ensuring products are stocked and presented in a way that drives sales.

This position will primarily be based at our Center, Texas location but will provide merchandising and buying support for both our Center and Carthage stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary buyer for Home Goods, Gifts, Décor, Seasonal, and Apparel merchandise.
• Research current retail trends and select products that appeal to our local customer base while aligning with the Ace Hardware brand.
• Design, implement, and maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays throughout both store locations.
• Plan and execute seasonal resets, promotional displays, and featured merchandise presentations.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify fast- and slow-moving products, and adjust purchasing decisions accordingly.
• Work closely with store managers and department associates to ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed.
• Visit both Center and Carthage locations regularly to maintain merchandising standards and consistency.
• Coordinate with receiving and sales floor teams to ensure new merchandise is processed and displayed promptly.
• Create engaging social media content highlighting new arrivals, seasonal merchandise, promotions, and in-store events.
• Assist in planning and promoting special events, holiday promotions, and community activities.
• Analyze department sales performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability and inventory turns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment that encourages customers to explore and purchase.
