Company Overview

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Previous experience working as an HVAC Service Technician is required. This is not an entry-level position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Service a variety of equipment, including chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections, system adjustments, cleaning, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, electronic components, building automation systems, and direct digital or pneumatic controls.
• Replace and repair components such as compressors, motors, expansion valves, coils, and other HVAC parts.
• Evacuate and charge refrigerant systems and perform related refrigeration service procedures.
• Inspect air and water distribution systems for proper airflow, volume, temperature, and pressure.
• Balance air and water systems and diagnose condensation or system performance issues.
• Respond to emergency service calls and identify effective solutions to equipment failures.
• Provide technical recommendations for HVAC system improvements, installations, and modifications.
• Complete accurate service records documenting work performed, findings, and recommended repairs.
• Identify necessary parts, supplies, and equipment for service work.
• Assist with training other technicians when needed and provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous professional experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, electrical components, and HVAC controls.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer and project locations as required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
