Our installers travel Monday–Friday and are home on weekends.

Position Summary

We are looking for dependable HVAC Installers to join our traveling installation team. This is a hands-on position assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential projects throughout Idaho and Montana.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working away from home during the week, and confident pulling a trailer.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with HVAC equipment and system installations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload tools, equipment, materials, and HVAC components.
• Safely operate company vehicles and pull trailers to and from job sites.
• Assist with ductwork, equipment placement, piping, wiring, and other installation tasks.
• Follow plans, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and a clean work area.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of an installation crew.
• Travel throughout Idaho and Montana Monday–Friday.
• Perform other duties related to HVAC installation as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience safely pulling and maneuvering trailers is required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DOT physical and required DOT qualifications. JM Mechanical will assist with obtaining the required DOT physical.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home Monday–Friday.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely lift and move HVAC equipment, tools, and materials.
• HVAC or construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and advance in the HVAC trade.

Schedule & Travel

Traveling is required. Installers typically work Monday–Friday on projects throughout Idaho and Montana, with weekends off and at home.
