Description

Local Electrical Contractor is looking for a Sr. Electrical Estimator to lead estimating for projects located throughout the Southeastern area of the United States. This is a long term position. Pay depends on experience. Benefits are available after 90 days. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years electrical estimating work experience. This position will require to work in the office.

Job Requirements:

• Review schematic plans and narratives to develop comprehensive electrical price.
• Manage electrical design to desired electrical budget in Design-Build and Design-Assist scenarios.
• Coordinate with General Contractors on scope, schedule, RFI’s and VE opportunities.
• Create detailed electrical estimates including self-performed scope, quoted materials, and sub-tier subcontractors.
• Coordinate scope required for vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and sub-tier subcontractors
• Draft detailed descriptions of scope included in pricing provided.
• Experience in Healthcare, Mission Critical, and Industrial Manufacturing construction.
• Identify, coordinate and communicate lead-times for critical equipment with vendors and clients.
• Manage assisting estimators, assigning tasks, providing direction, giving timelines, and reviewing for accuracy and completion.
