Description

Northwest Concrete Cutting is your premier destination for top-notch concrete drilling and sawing services. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Technician to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the concrete industry, specializing in a comprehensive range of techniques including core drilling, hand sawing, slab sawing, wall sawing, and wire sawing. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete cutting and drilling, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.

 

Job Responsibilities


Concrete Cutting and Drilling: Perform core drilling, hand sawing, slab sawing, wall sawing, and wire sawing operations on various projects. Execute precise and accurate cuts according to project specifications and job layouts. 


Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain concrete cutting and drilling equipment efficiently and safely. Conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery. 


Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures during all operations. Comply with company policies, local, state, and federal regulations. 


Project Execution: Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project progress and any issues encountered. 


Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks. Perform post-cutting inspections to verify accuracy and quality of work. 

 

Job Shift and Schedule


  • Full time Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm with occasional travel and overtime

 

Preferred Job Qualifications: 

  • Valid & Current Driver's License is required
  • Construction experience preferred, but not required  
  • Ability to work well in a team or independent setting  
  • Ability to interpret project specifications 
  • Attention to detail and precision in work  
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment 
  • Flexibility to work in diverse conditions, including outdoor environments, inclement weather, and occasionally irregular hours to accommodate project needs or equipment emergencies
