Scheduler

PVB Fabrications, Inc. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Scheduler to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in planning, tracking, and reporting project schedules to help ensure successful project execution and achievement of key milestones.

About the Role

As a Scheduler, you will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project managers, field operations, and clients, you will help identify scheduling risks, monitor progress, allocate resources, and provide accurate reporting that supports informed decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and interpret contract scheduling requirements to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Create and maintain baseline, resource-loaded, and progress schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Assist in establishing project controls, scheduling standards, and reporting procedures.
• Prepare summary-level schedule graphics and executive reports for internal and client presentations.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with project teams to identify critical and near-critical work activities necessary to achieve project milestones.
• Develop logical activity relationships and schedule constraints through coordination with project stakeholders.
• Monitor labor, material, equipment, and cost resources within project schedules and prepare resource histograms and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze critical and near-critical path activities and identify potential schedule impacts or delays.
• Evaluate project progress and validate schedule updates using input from field personnel and interdisciplinary project teams.
• Recommend schedule recovery strategies and mitigation plans when necessary.
• Maintain accurate schedule documentation and provide timely progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and analyzing construction schedules is required.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, project controls, or program controls across multiple construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience developing resource-loaded construction schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means, methods, and project execution.
• Experience tracking, updating, expediting, and reporting project progress.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, management, and project teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours as project demands require.
