Field Engineer (FULL TIME)

Location: Maine

Assist the Project Engineer or Project Superintendent with the planning, organizing, and managing of specific tasks within the assigned project. Help ensure safety and project quality; complete activities to meet customer satisfaction objectives. The roles and responsibilities of the Field Engineer may change to meet the needs and complexities of specific project. Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with owners, engineers, subcontractors and personnel within Reed & Reed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain positive relationships within the owner, engineering, and subcontractor firms
• Help maintain communication flow between owner, engineer, and subcontractors
• Attend and participate in coordination meetings, update schedule and address project issues as required
• Involvement in implementing quality control program
• Perform construction layout to facilitate and support construction activities
• Understand and ensure that Reed & Reeds company policies are adhered to at all times
• Assist documenting best practices to share with other projects as required
• Assist with and/or perform document controls such as RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and closeout documentation as required
• Foster team camaraderie
• Support and communicate the Companys vision, values and goals
• Assist with issues and help resolve problems
• Provide layout assistance and check quality and accuracy of subcontractor work
• Understand and follow the project-specific safety plan
• Assist in ensuring jobs have safe working conditions and that safe work practices are in place

Must have Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
