Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong tenant improvement and interiors background to lead on-site execution of multiple concurrent projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day field leadership, subcontractor coordination, schedule execution, site safety, and quality control.

The Superintendent is the primary on-site authority and works in close coordination with Project Managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities in compliance with plans, specifications, and codes
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily work sequencing
• Enforce site safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Maintain daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation
• Monitor schedule and proactively resolve field issues impacting progress
• Verify work conforms to drawings and specifications
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and manpower
• Supervise trade contractor performance and quality of work
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, designers, and inspectors
• Support constructability reviews and value-engineering efforts when needed

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong tenant improvement and interior construction background
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously
• Working knowledge of scheduling and field documentation tools (Procore a plus)
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, field-driven environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience
• At least 5 years in a Superintendent or field leadership role
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
