Tri-Star Construction is seeking dependable Laborers to join our crews on heavy civil and road construction projects.

PAY: Starting at $16+ / hour, with higher starting pay based on experience and skill level

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, or underground utility heavy civil construction activities
• Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, pressure washers, and torches
• Prepare jobsite materials, unload tools, and set up equipment
• Hand dig as needed, including exposing existing utilities
• Direct traffic around construction and road work areas when assigned
• Clean, inspect, maintain, and properly store tools and equipment
• Follow direction from the Superintendent and Foreman and work safely as part of the crew
• Follow Company and OSHA safety requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of heavy civil construction experience preferred
• Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a crew
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Ability to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, lifting, carrying, twisting, turning, stooping, bending, and climbing
• Work around active construction equipment, traffic, dust, asphalt, and other jobsite conditions
• Overtime required as neededOut-of-town travel may be required
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required
