The best fit for this position:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems, helping in all aspects of the equipment maintenance in the shop. Following the procedures and safety regulations to diagnose and repair.

Daily challenges and goals:

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Assist in transporting equipment when necessary.
• Place parts orders and properly cost code them.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
• Help keep track of services.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
• Maintain work log and issue report.

What do you need to succeed in this Role?

• High school Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components
• Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
• Very good communication skills
• Problem-solving ability.
