Flynn Construction Management General Contracting, Inc.

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: On the road

If you’re an experienced Traveling Superintendent tired of disorganized projects, unclear expectations, and starting from scratch on every job, Flynn offers a different approach. We build repeatable commercial projects for national clients using proven systems, established schedules, and documented procedures that allow our teams to work efficiently and with confidence.

Who We Are

Flynn Construction Management is a national general contractor specializing in fitness centers, hospitality, and retail construction. We’ve built long-term relationships with major national clients by delivering consistent quality, meeting aggressive schedules, and applying lessons learned from past projects. Our success is rooted in structure, communication, and field-driven execution—not chaos.

The Superintendent Role

As a Traveling Superintendent at Flynn, you’ll lead the field execution of commercial projects across the country. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety and quality standards, and keep projects moving forward using established processes and expectations. Because many of our builds are repeatable, our Superintendents benefit from systems that reduce rework and allow them to focus on managing the job—not constantly putting out fires.

  • Directing day-to-day jobsite operations to keep projects on schedule and aligned with contract plans
  • Coordinating subcontractors and field activities to maintain efficient workflow
  • Maintaining daily job logs, reports, and documentation using company tools
  • Ensuring all work meets quality standards and is installed correctly
  • Scheduling and coordinating inspections and documenting completed work
  • Communicating project status, challenges, and progress with the Project Manager
  • Managing scope changes and overseeing punch list completion
  • Working collaboratively with internal support teams including accounting, HR, and operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a commercial construction Superintendent
  • Strong jobsite leadership and subcontractor coordination experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively (90–100%) based on project needs
  • Solid understanding of sequencing, quality control, and safety practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on active jobsites

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($70,000–$110,000)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability
  • Paid time off
