Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for the day to day operations of self-perform crews and subcontractors, including safety, quality, and personnel. This position is also responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and that all work is done in accordance with safety standards, codes, and requirements.
Position Qualifications
· Education: Highschool diploma or GED required
· Experience: 5+ years in the construction industry required to include experience with managing construction budgeting best practices, in-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
Position Type and Expected Work Hours
This is a Full-Time position with standard working hours of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a salary/exempt position that is not entitled to overtime pay.

Essential Functions
· Review and familiarize yourself with job specifications, pay items, and scope of work to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements
· Coordinate all necessary communication and compliance efforts related to OKIE (Oklahoma One-Call) for utility locates prior to construction
· Organize and schedule all necessary construction staking activities to ensure propre project layout and positioning
· Collaborate with the Foreman to plan the job, review project scope, and align on key objectives and timelines for each phase
· Identify and coordinate additional project requirements, including equipment needs, inspection schedules, and other operational necessities
· Prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI’s) for all project phases, ensuring each includes the following: Date, project, Plan for sheet reference, description of use, identified conflict, and relevant pictures/documentation
· Ensure team follows all safety protocols by conducting weekly Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) and verify the Foreman are completing their JHA’s as required.
· Monitor and assess project production and efficiency, and consults with the Project Manager to ensure costs are recovered.
· Ensure that all work quantities are reported accurately and in a timely manner on a daily basis
· Coordinate crew assignments and ensure proper placement of personnel where needed to meet project demands
· Schedule and coordinate survey and construction staking prior to mobilization to ensure accurate project layout
· Coordinate the allocation of equipment and trucks, ensuring the right resources are in place and available to meet project requirements
· Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards to maintain quality throughout the construction process
· Oversee the testing of materials in accordance with the established schedule to verify compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards
· Monitor project timeline to ensure that construction activities are progressing according to schedule and take corrective action when necessary to prevent delays
· Maintain consistent and effective communication with the Project Manager on a daily basis to report on progress, identify issues, and discuss project developments
· Regularly review and manage project documentation, including timesheets, quantity sheets, and material tickets. Ensure timesheets are accurate and provide insight into labor and production management
· Monitor employee behavior, attendance, and performance. Address any issues promptly and ensure that Foremen are documenting uncorrected behavior through formal write-ups as needed
· Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are being properly maintained, used responsibly, and safeguarded against abuse, theft, or damage
· Ensure that yard and storage areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety and operational standards
· Understand and effectively manage the equipment and trucking needs for the project, ensuring these assets are used efficiently and are available when required
